Actress Candace Cameron Bure is elated! She is looking forward to her new upcoming role as a mother-in-law. Yes, her son Lev Bure has got engaged! And mother Candace is happy. She posted the news on her Instagram for her fans.
On Saturday, 29 August 2020, Candace, 45 wrote:
“She said YES!!! Last night my son @levvbure proposed to beautiful @taylorrhutchison,”
And Candace continued:
“We are SO excited about these cuties!!! #Engaged! And this mama/mama-in-love can’t wait for wedding planning shenanigans.”
Lev’s lady love is Taylor Hutchison. She too put up the great announcement on her Instagram page. She displayed her new engagement ring on her finger with a blue manicure on it. Lev was also in this photo and was holding her close.
She simply captioned this:
“Surprise surprise,”
And followed it with a blue heart and ring emojis.
Candace and her personal life
Lev is Candace’s son with Valeri Bure. The two also share two other children. They are daughter Natasha, 23, and son Maksim, 19.
Candace was also very young when she wed Valerie. This was in 1996 and she was only 20 years old at that time. The couple’s married life has been strong and lasted for 25 years now. She had once told People magazine that the secret of her happy life is religion.
She stated:
“The reality is the glue for us is Jesus,”
“It’s the Bible. You know, when there are arguments or we’re compromising and in ways, it’s always like, ‘Well, let’s just go back to the Bible.’ It’s the foundation for us. So it’s not about winning or losing. But doing this journey together.”
Candace and her career
The American actress is now in Canada. She is filming for two Hallmark Channel movies: If Only I Had Christmas and Aurora Teagarden Mysteries. She told Yahoo Entertainment News:
“The COVID-19 rates are very low up here in British Columbia, so there are lots of protocols that we’re all going through. Everyone’s being completely safe. It’s been so wonderful to be able to get back to work.”
In this same year, Candace also completed her stint in Fuller House. The latter is the famous sequel of Full House, the classic TV series. In Fuller House, she played the grown-up version of her character in Full House, namely that of D.J.Tanner.
Her co-stars included Jodie Sweetin (who portrayed her sister Stephanie Tanner), Andrea Barber (who played her friend Kimmy Gibbler), along with Lori Loughlin, who played Rebecca Katsopolis (“Aunt Becky”).
But in March 2019, Lori was sacked from the show after she was involved in the college admission scandal. Lori had paid $500,000 to businessman William “Rick” Singer to get college admissions for her daughters Olivia Jade and Isabella Giannulli.
Last week, Lori was sentenced to two months in federal jail. And Lori’s fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli got five months of jail term.
