Lexi Underwood is an American actress and singer. The actress is a new leading lady in season two of the Freeform drama series Cruel Summer. She will be replacing Eloise Payet in the upcoming sophomore season.

However, Cruel Summer currently doesn’t have an official release date yet.

If you are viewers of season one of Cruel Summer then you will definitely be waiting for season 2 drama. Season 1 debuted in April 2021 and followed the story of Kate Wallis (Olivia Holt), who was kidnapped and later rescued, and Jeanette Turner (Chiara Aurelia), who was accused of knowing the whereabouts of the missing girl.

What could Cruel Summer season 2 be about?

A source confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that there will be some major changes in season 2. The show will be set in the Pacific Northwest and goes back to the 2000s for another mystery.

Lexi stars along with previously announced cast members such as Sadie Stanley, Griffin Gluck, KaDee Strickland, Paul Adelstein, and more. According to Freeform, season two of the anthology follows the rise and fall of an intense teenage friendship

The network said,

“The season twists and turns as it tracks the early friendship between Megan (Stanley), Isabella (Underwood) and Megan’s best friend Luke (Gluck). The love triangle that blossomed, and the mystery that would impact all of their lives going forward.”
