Mallory Pugh and Dansby Swanson married after five years of dating
Mallory Pugh and Dansby Swanson are now officially spouses. The United States Women’s National soccer team star, 24, and her fiance took a milestone in their relationship after five years of dating.
The wedding ceremony took place on Saturday, December 10, at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Lake Oconee in Greensboro, Georgia. While speaking to PEOPLE, the newly married exclusively told,
“To get married in front of our family and friends is so special. It means that we are becoming one and get to impact God’s kingdom together.”
Mallory and Dansby decorated their wedding venue in a distinctive way that featured modern, elegant, classic, and timeless touches. The designs and decor included black and white flowers, a monogram of “M” and “D”adorned the invitations, napkins, a DJ station, and photo backdrops.

Similarly, when the couple headed for the couple dance, the white dance floor scenery with gold star chandeliers and a custom floral installation with greenery and white wisteria.
Their wedding was planned by a wedding planner, Sara Fried of Fete Nashville Luxury Wedding. Sara says about the wedding,
“Mal’s vision for her dream ceremony was an enchanted forest canopied with towering trees. We added whimsical string lights, romantic crystal chandeliers and a gorgeous white altar inspired by church windows, and let nature be the focal point.”
Wedding attires
The bride of the day, 24, wore an off-shoulder white gown from Anne Barge for her big day. She completed her looks with a dreamy veil and as for accessories, she opted for only a white earring.
The groom, on the other hand, looked dapper in a black tuxedo. As for the reception, the newlywed couple changed into Shoe Surgeon’s custom for dancing. Pugh and Swanson said that the main goal “was to have everyone on the dance floor all night long.”
They added,
“We loved having everyone in one place to celebrate, dance and enjoy each other,”

How long have Mallory Pugh and Dansby Swanson been dating?
Dansby and Mallory met through former teammate Jace Peterson as he is married to Mallory’s sister, Brianna. The two began dating in the year 2017 and after dating almost for four years, they got engaged.
In 2021, the two officially announced their engagement. Since the two since were inseparable.
