The ups and downs of Mandy Moore’s pregnancy experience
Mandy Moore has been candid about her experiences with pregnancy. In June, she and Taylor announced on Instagram that they were expecting their third child. They also revealed that they would soon welcome a daughter.
She shared a photo of her two sons, Gus and Ozzie, holding hands while wearing T-shirts that read “Big” and “Middle.” She then captioned the photo,
“Sometimes life imitates art. The third in our own Big Three coming soon, Can’t wait for these boys to have a baby sister.”
The following month, she revealed her baby bump by posting a picture of herself in an animal-print dress after previously trying to hide her stomach.
Throughout her pregnancy, Mandy noted that it has had both challenges and joys. She mentioned that this pregnancy has been the most difficult for her so far. In July, she posted a mirror selfie on her Instagram stories, showcasing her baby bump in a tight black tank top.
In the photo, she expressed her anticipation by asking, “Is it September yet?” She acknowledged feeling grateful for her body but admitted that chasing two toddlers while pregnant is quite demanding. Despite the difficulties, Mandy remains excited about the arrival of her daughter.
Before Gus and Ozzie were born, doctors told her she had a “slim chance” of conceiving. In January 2024, Moore shared with her followers that she thought she might not be able to have children. She called her pregnancies a “surprise.”
Initially, doctors suspected she had endometriosis and was preparing for surgery when she became pregnant with her first child. Mandy recalled being hesitant to believe the pregnancy news due to issues with her uterus. She mentioned “holding my breath until weeks” into the pregnancy during a 2021 interview.
