We all know the talented and unageing beauty, Mariah Carey. She has been in the Hollywood industry for about 3 decades. The singer recently has made headlines as she faced a lawsuit. Ex-manager Stella Bulochnikov has been accused of sexual harassment!
Accusations
So what were her accusations?
Stella has accused her former boss to have been “constantly naked in front of her”. Among it, she also accused the 48-year-old singer of doing “sexual things in Stella’s presence”.
Stella also has revealed that Carey has another major problem- drug addiction. She also further revealed that Mariah does not take her prescribed medication to treat her recently announced bipolar disorder.
Stella has also accused Mariah of firing her in the middle of a three-year contract and Mariah still owes her money.
Mariah was also previously 2017 accused of sexual harassment by a former employee.
In Defense
Mariah’s representatives have told that the lawsuit is a “frivolous and baseless claim” that will be defended against “vigorously and successfully”.
Moreover in 2016 reports on page six, a gossip column, Stella didn’t act like a manager, but rather a ‘dictator’.
A source shared “She’s practically moved in with Mariah and now she has so much stuff on her that she can get her to do anything. She’s pulling the strings, and Mariah does whatever she says.”
Carey’s representatives also released a statement:
“Stella Bulochnikov was terminated from employment as Mariah’s manager due to failure to perform her job effectively and ill-serving her client. Stella was not under contract for employment. She has been spreading false rumors to any media outlet that will publish them. We won’t respond to lies and threats.”
More reports
There were also reports that Stella will not be filing the lawsuit if she’s paid an undisclosed amount of money.

Bipolar disorder
She has been battling bipolar disorder since 2001 but has recently opened up about her struggles with the disorder. She also recently sought treatment.
In July 2001, Mariah was hospitalized which she said was because of “extreme exhaustion” and a “physical and emotional breakdown”. She had spent two weeks in a Connecticut hospital and was absent from the public eye for months after her release.
She told People magazine:
“Until recently I lived in denial and isolation and in constant fear someone would expose me. It was too heavy a burden to carry and I simply couldn’t do that anymore. I sought and received treatment, I put positive people around me and I got back to doing what I love — writing songs and making music.”
Mariah also revealed that she is turning to her close friends and passion for music for support. She further had shared:
“For a long , time I thought I had a severe sleep disorder. I was irritable and in constant fear of letting people down. It turns out that I was experiencing a form of mania.”
