Matthew Mindler who is known for his role in Our Idiot Brother was found dead! The 19 years old actor’s death news came days after he was reported missing in Pennsylvania earlier this week.

He was last seen leaving his residence hall at Millersville University around 8:11 p.m. on Tuesday. On 28th August 2021, he was announced dead by Millersville University President A. Wubah.

He wrote,

“It is with a grieving heart that I let you know of the death of 19-year-old Matthew Mindler from Hellertown, Pennsylvania, a first-year student at Millersville University. Our thoughts of comfort and peace are with his friends and family during this difficult time.”

More on Matthew’s death

A search for Matthew was going on since Thursday after he was reported missing. He was found dead on the morning of Saturday in Manor Township near campus. Also, he was transported to the Lancaster County Forensic Center by the coroner for further investigation.

He added,

“This is a time of grief for the family, our campus and the community. I ask that the campus community come together to support each other, and our students, during this difficult time.”

The cause of his death has not been revealed yet. He had attended his classes up till 24th August and was reported missing on 25th Aug might after he did not return to his room. Likewise, he did not even return phone calls from his family. A missing adult report was filed by the University police with the National Crime Information Center on 26th Aug and notified local police departments of his disappearance.

Matthew Mindler was a child actor who has done a few acting works. He first appeared as a Halloween Boy in the 2009 TV series As the World Turns, Bereavement, Our Idiot Brother, Frequency, This American Life: One Night Only at BAM, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Solo, and Chad: An American Boy.
