Mauricio Umansky is not rushing to date again after his split with Kyle Richards

Mauricio Umansky shared an update on his dating life following his split from his estranged wife Kyle Richards.
He is not dating as of now and is more focused on his real estate firm The Agency.
Mauricio and Kyle announced their separation in October 2023, however, hasn’t been processed for divorce yet.

Mauricio Umansky shares relationship status amid his separation from Kyle Richards

In a recent interview with E! News, Mauricio Umansky discussed his present relationship status after splitting from now estranged wife Kyle Richards.

The Buying Beverly Hills star told the outlet,

“I’m spending a lot of time by myself and kind of getting to learn myself and enjoy myself, I’ve been enjoying that process. I’m not in a rush to do anything at the moment. Not in a rush—period. I am enjoying the journey and I’m learning from myself.”

Adding to that he said he is currently more focused on his real estate firm The Agency.

“I’ve got a lot of stuff to do in business.. There is no rush to go out there. I’m just taking it a day at a time.”

The real estate mogul addressed his dating life almost five months after he and Kyle confirmed their separation. The two decided to part ways after almost three decades of marriage.

Kyle and Mauricio shared four adult daughters Farrah, 34, Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Farrah also commented on her parents’ split noting that it did not wipe away all the years of their “amazing marriage.”

Similarly, she talked about parents possibly dating other people.

“It’s a whole new world that we now love in, but I think we’re very evolved, we’re very resilient. Our parents are humans and they are experiencing life. Things are changing and we’re just trying to adapt and be empathetic towards everybody’s experiences, be understanding and be supportive, even though it is very unusual and different. We just want everyone to be happy.”

How long have Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky been separated?

In October 2023, Kyle confirmed that she and Mauricio had separated after finishing filming the 13th season of RHOBH. She explained,

“For anyone who is confused, that (decision to split) happened after we were done filming (“RHOBH”) and the story came out. Then the Netflix cameras happened to be with us in Aspen so they ended up filming us talking about it.”
“Obviously, Bravo’s been following my life for 13 years. It’s not like (Netflix) can film that scene and then I don’t share that with the viewers of ‘The Housewives, So we ended up shooting that scene — both for “Buying Beverly Hills” and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” — after we were all wrapped and the story ended up coming out.”

She further acknowledged that although they are living under the same roof for now, it’s not “sustainable.” Richards said,

“We’re fortunate that we don’t fight and we get along, It oddly works. But … at some point, you have to be like ‘OK, it’s the new normal but I don’t think it’s sustainable.'”

During an interview with PEOPLE in the same month, Mauricio also discussed his separation from Kyle. He told the outlet,

“She [Kyle] and I currently are separated, but we are not throwing in the towel, We’re not just saying that to say that. We actually are not yet throwing in the towel.”
