She shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram with a photo of the deceased boy Mason’s memory box
She is happily married to her husband Dave and has two children Aiden and Elle Madison

Maya Vander of Selling Sunset has some sad news to share! The TV personality is mourning the loss of her son as she had a stillbirth at 38 weeks. She shared the unfortunate news on 9th December 2021.

Her stillbirth happened on 8th December which happened to be the hardest day of her life. Maya revealed,

“Yesterday was the hardest day of my life. I had a still birth at 38 weeks. I always heard of it but never imagined I’ll be part of the statistics. Instead of delivering a baby, I get to go home with a memory box… I do not wish this on anyone.”

Vander shared the heartbreaking news alongside a photo of the deceased boy Mason’s memory box and wrote,

“What was a regular weekly checkup turned into a nightmare that I never imagine will happen to me. Given I share my pregnancies in the show I knew I’ll have to post about this and avoid the ‘when is your due date ‘question. You will always be in our heart baby Mason.”

It was in July 2021, that she shared the news of her pregnancy posing on a rooftop in front of the Miami skyline. Also, she wore a curve-hugging dress as her husband cradled her baby bump. The due date was said to be near Christmas. So they were more than excited about their Christmas present but it turned into sad news.

Who is Maya Vander married to?

Dave, Maya Vander’s husband, is not very active on social media. He has not appeared on the show Selling Sunset as well. The reason for him not appearing in the show is said to be his career in finance in Miami. Although he has a respectable job that the show might ruin, Maya wants him to be in it.

She decided not to involve her husband Dave in the show after observing her fellow castmates’ experiences. That is why she shows him very little on her social media. Likewise, the couple has two children, a son Aiden, and a daughter Elle Madison.
