Meryl Streep and Don Gummer‘s marriage, one of Hollywood’s longest-lasting marriages has ended, confirms Page Six.

The Hollywood legendary actress, 74, and the feted sculptor, 76, have been separated for six years.

In an exclusive statement, a rep for the actress said,

“Don Gummer and Meryl Streep have been separated for more than 6 years, and while they will always care for each other, they have chosen lives apart.”

The shocking news came after the Oscar-winning star was seen just today at the Princesa de Asturias Awards 2023 wearing her wedding band. However, the last time the couple was seen together was at the 2018 Oscars.

The pair shares four children: Henry Wolfe, 43, and actresses Mamie Gummer, 40, Grace Gummer, 37, and Louisa Jacobson, 30.

They raised their kids at the Connecticut compound in Salisbury’s idyllic, historic town.

The couple also has five grandkids. Henry shares two children with his wife, Tamryn Storm Hawker, and Mamie has two kids with her husband Mehar Sethi.

Grace, for her part, recently welcomed her first child with husband, record producer Mark Ronson. Louis is famous for starring in the HBO show The Gilded Age.

Talking about the couple’s property, they shared a plush Tribeca loft in New York City alongside their Connecticut farm. However, they sold the NYC apartment for $15.8 million in January.

The Devil Wears Prada actress purchased a $4 million home in Pasadena, Calif., in July 2020.

At the time, the actress was still mourning the death of her beloved late boyfriend and Deer Hunter co-star John Cazale, who died of lung cancer that same year.
