Mia Goth has been embroiled in a legal dispute.

The actress is accused by background actor James Huter that she kicked him in the head during a scene in the upcoming film MaXXXine in April 2023.

He claimed that when he spoke out against her on set, he was removed from the production the next day.

Goth was allegedly charged with two suspicions of committing battery and wrongfully terminated.

Hunter alleges that the encounter caused him to have a concussion.

He is requesting $250,000 for “medical expenses,” “rehabilitation,” and “related expenses,” along with “punitive and/or exemplary damages.”

Regarding his injuries, Hunter said that he had to stop over twice on the way home the day of the alleged kick because he felt dizzy.

Similarly, he went to the hospital after experiencing “head trauma symptoms,” such as “loss of memory, confusion, and disorientation,”. He said that following the kick, his head had “bruises and red marks.”

What happened between Mia Goth and James Hunter that day?

James stated in the petition that he was employed for three days in April 2023 to play a deceased parishioner in MaXXXine.

On the day of the incident, the background actor was instructed to lie on the ground for “several hours,” enduring “ants and mosquitoes.”

During the fourth take of a scene, Goth ran and stepped over Hunter, she nearly trod on him. Similarly, the second assistant director had “warned” her to “be careful”.

But on the next take, Hunter claimed, the actress “intentionally kicked” him in the head.

Similarly, after the scene ended, Goth confronted him in the bathroom and “taunted, mocked, and belittled” him, challenging him to take action.

The following day, his casting agency then notified him that production did not want him to return for the final two days.

He further alleges that he was “banned” from the film set.
