Did Anthony Edwards force abortion on a model?

Anthony Edwards publicly spoke after an OnlyFans model accused him of encouraging her to get an abortion.

The NBA player released a statement on Monday after the model named Paige Jordae claimed that the Minnesota Timberwolves star offered her $100,000 to terminate her pregnancy.

The statement which the athlete shared on X read,

“I made comments in the heat of a moment that are not me, and that are not aligned with what I believe and who I want to be as a man,”
“All women should be supported and empowered to make their own decisions about their bodies and what is best for them,”

He concluded,

“I am handling my personal matters privately and will not be commenting on them any further at this time.”

His statement came just a day after the model shared screenshots of the alleged text messages between her and the basketball player, including a snap of a positive pregnancy test.

In the text, when the model announces her pregnancy, Edwards responds,

“hell nawl can’t do dis,”
“Get a abortion lol.”

The Instagram model replies,

“Honestly I had an abortion with my son around 2 years ago and I regret it everyday.”

Anthony wrote back that he didn’t want a kid and asked her to take the pills.

What did Paige say about Edwards?

In the conversation, which happened between November and early December, Edwards asked Paige to send a video of herself taking pills to abort the child.

Paige also shared a screenshot of a pending wire transfer of $100,000 on November 27, along with Edwards’ alleged text that read, “I will send you money to help you out.”

The model then shared a lengthy statement about the drama.

She said,

“I’ve never once ran to the internet about NO ONE,”
“I tried over and over to handle this privately and my efforts were ignored.”

She added,

“I’ve been lied to and manipulated by someone who knows exactly what they’re doing and takes no accountability for anything,”

Edwards who recently signed a $260 million contract extension is reportedly in a relationship with Jeannie Robel.

After signing the deal, he took to Instagram to share a message panning Robel. He wrote,

“All you females that think you gonna come up off a n—- from signing a contract, she the only one,”
“She the only one that’s coming up. She new to the table, so I’m a little green for her.”
