Ned Rocknroll is not “Rocknroll” anymore?

Rocknroll changed his surname to Rocknroll as he thought his surname was too boring. Previously, he also had plans to not have any surnames but it was not possible legally.

Ned’s first wife also once revealed that he always thought his birth name was boring and he wanted to change it to something fun. But back in 2019, he decided to go back to his birth name.

As his son is growing older Need decided to change his name back to Smith. He wants to set an example for his son. Moreover, he also doesn’t want to embarrass his son.

The couple’s rep stated:

“It was always a bit of a joke. He is a very happy-go-lucky person. He never takes a life that seriously but sometimes life changes and now he wants to be a bit more serious. Ned decided to change it back to Smith because he is now a dad and wants to set an example. Kate also felt it might be embarrassing for their child as he got older.”

Married life of Ned and Kate Winslet

Ned and Kate tied the knot back in 2012 in an intimate ceremony in New York. Only Kate’s children, their few families, and friends attended the wedding. The couple welcomed their first child together after a year in December 2013.

Back in 2011, during the trip to Necker, Kate saved Sir Richard’s 90-year-old mother from a fire. She was there on the trip with her then-boyfriend model Louis Dowler.

Though she was on the trip with her boyfriend at the time, she fell for her now-husband Ned on the trip.

Kate has a daughter Mia with her ex-husband Jim Threapleton with whom she parted ways after three years of marriage. After Jim, she tied the knot with Sam Mendes which came to an end in 2010.

The former couple shares a son Joe together. On the other hand, Ned parted ways with his ex-wife British socialite Eliza Pearson in 2011 after two years of marriage. Kate and Ned are happily married and are raising their son Bear together.
