Atlanta Braves

Nick was selected by Atlanta Braves in the 32nd round of the 1998 Major League Baseball Draft.

On 15th May 2004, he made his Major League debut against Milwaukee Braves. On 2nd July 2004, he hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to lead the Braves to victory over the Boston Red Sox.

Tampa Bay Devil Rays

Atlanta Braves traded Nick to Tampa Bay Devil Rays for the 2005 season.

In 2005, he batted .239 in 111 games for the Devil Rays.

New York Yankees

He was traded to New York Yankees from Tampa Bay Devil Rays for 2006 season.

On 2nd July 2006, he made his first start for the Yankees, at second base.

Seattle Mariners

After that in 2007, he was traded by New York Yankees to Seattle Mariners. Nick appeared in six games for the Mariners and had seven at-bats, without recording a hit.
