Australian actress Nicky Whelan got married to her fiancé, an NFL player turned actor Kerry Rhodes on 15 April 2017 in an extravagant wedding ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel where they exchanged the wedding vows to become husband and wife officially.

Update: Nicky and Kerry have split. The couple is decided to divorce less than six months after their marital relationship. They legally divorced on 1st October 2018.

The Arrangements

‘People’ magazine was the first to report the details of the marriage ceremony of Nicky and Kerry.

The wedding planner was Stacey Ruiz who planned a perfect wedding with flowers arrangement by Petals LA, a three-tier cake by Cake Boss Buddy Valastro’s Carlo’s Bakery, wedding rings designed and made by Rafaello & Co., and bridesmaid dresses by Amsale.

Nicki shared the feeling of marriage

Nicky Whelan opened up about her marriage with husband Kerry Rhodes in an interview where she stated,

“We love the tradition of marriage, and we love being able to call each other husband and wife, We both understand that our relationship takes work, and we made a choice that that’s what we are wanting. Both of our parents are still together, and so we have been around a very traditional environment our whole lives. We want to carry that through.”

Moreover, Nicky revealed the best thing about her fairy tale wedding and said,

“The best thing we did was not allowing iPhones into the wedding, it was amazing to watch everyone get up and communicate and dance — not one person was looking down al night. It really proved about point about how incredible people are when they come together and don’t have their cell phones.”

Similarly, Nicky shared another highlight of the wedding and said,

“We had family from Australia and Alabama and the U.K. all in one room, it was an incredible energy of love and laughter.”

The wedding was attended by celebrities which included spin king Shane Warne, designer Katie Brannaghan and model turned photographer Rosanna Faraci.

Nicky and Kerry got engaged on Valentine’s day of 2016. Similarly, Kerry presented her with a 6.5 karat designer diamond ring from Rafaello and Co. Jewelers of New York City.
