Bode Miller revealed his son Asher is in the hospital after getting carbon monoxide poisoning.
The young boy got poisoned by a construction crane outside their home.
Asher had to be hospitalized last year after suffering a febrile seizure.

Bode Miller‘s son Asher is in the hospital after suffering carbon monoxide poisoning.

The 45-year-old Olympian revealed in an Instagram post on Thursday that some of his young children “got really sick” sick from a construction crane that was outside their family home.

The skier explained,

”Earlier this week we had a crane parked in our driveway for a few hours,”
“Despite keeping the kids inside for obvious safety reasons, the little ones got really sick from it.”

The athlete shares daughter Scarlet Olivia, 1, twin boys Asher and Aksel as well as sons Easton, 4, and Nash, 8, with his wife Morgan Miller.

He continued,

“Asher ended up in the hospital with carbon monoxide poisoning,”

“All are well now, but passing along as a reminder to all parents of the dangers of carbon monoxide. Reminder to go test your CO detectors.”

The original post showed a photo of his toddler sitting in a hospital room where he was wearing an oxygen mask.

This is not the first time Asher suffered a serious health issue. In December 2022, Morgan, 36, wrote on Instagram,

“Life is constantly walking a knife edge and it’s not something we’re unfamiliar with,”
“Yesterday, Asher had a febrile seizure which scared us half to death.”

As per Mayo Clinic, a febrile seizure is a convulsion in a child that is caused by a fever and that often occurs in young, healthy kids.

Bode and Morgan lost their daughter in 2018

Morgan said that the traumatizing experience brought back memories of their daughter Emmy’s tragic death in June 2018.

The former Volleyball star wrote,

“We took that same ambulance to the same hospital we took Emmy to but this time we got to leave with our child,”

She continued,

“I am reminded to slow down and realize life’s little gifts during this crazy holiday season because we already have everything we need,”
“Our loved ones, our health and more time.”

The couple’s 1-year-old daughter Emeline drowned at their neighbor’s pool. On the fifth anniversary of their baby girl’s death, they paid a loving tribute to her memory.

Miller wrote on Instagram,

“It’s been 5 years. On the night of her birth our midwife @lindseymeehleis noted that Emmy was ‘here to change the world.’ 5 years after her loss, I can see it,”
“Emmy was fearless, determined and fierce from the moment she was born. We miss you Emmy. 19 months was never going to be long enough to hold you in our arms.”

Bode also has a 10-year-old son Nate and 14-year-old daughter Dace from his previous relationships.
