The singer posted a heartwarming message for her daddy on Instagram.

Paris Jackson is a daddy’s girl.

The daughter of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, paid a special tribute to her dad on what would have been his 65th birthday.

Sharing a selfie video on Instagram on Tuesday, the young songstress said,

“So today’s my dad’s birthday, and back when he was alive, he used to hate anybody acknowledging his birthday, wishing him a happy birthday, celebrating it, nothing like that,”
“He actually didn’t want us to even know when his birthday was because he didn’t want us to throw a party.”

While thinking of her late daddy’s memories, Paris said that she feels pressure from the late star’s fans to post about his birthday on social media.

“If you don’t wish someone a happy birthday via social media, it apparently means that you don’t love them, you don’t care about them,”
“There have been times where I don’t post anything for my dad’s birthday, and people lose their f—ing minds. They tell me to kill myself.”

The 25-year-old continued,

“And they’re basically measuring my love for my own father based off of what I post on Instagram,”

Earlier in the day, Paris shared footage of herself onstage while opening for rock band Incubus at the Amphitheater at Las Colonias Park in Grand Junction, Colo.

She informed the audience that it was her father’s 65th birthday and the crowd reacted with cheers.

Paris said,

“He put 50 years of blood, sweat and tears and love and passion into doing what he did, so that I can stand up here onstage in front of you and scream into a microphone,”
“So I owe everything to him.”

Paris Jackson’s brothers also honored their dad on his birthday

Another thing Paris asked her fans to do in the post was to be kind.

She said,

“please don’t use a man you have never met as an excuse to abuse, manipulate, and harass his daughter (who you also have never met),” adding, “L O V E ♥️.”

While Paris honored her dad from Colorado, her brothers, Prince Jackson, 26, and Blanket Jackson, 21, were in Vegas on their special day.

The two brothers were snapped taking photos and signing autographs at Sin City’s Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino after a Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil performance.

Michael’s firstborn looked in great spirits as he beamed with excitement as he interacted with guests and hugged them. Blanket, for his part, looked more reserved during the outing.

Michael passed away in June 2009 due to cardiac arrest due to an accidental drug overdose. He was 50 at the time.

The King of Pop welcomed Prince and Paris with his then-wife Debbie Rowe with whom he was married from November 1996 to April 2000.

He welcomed Blanket via a surrogate mother whose identity was never revealed.

Jackson was also married to the late Lisa Marie Presley from May 1994 to August 1996. They never shared any children together.
