Hughes family announced Helen Slayton Hughes’s death without disclosing the cause of her death

Helen Slayton Hughes, who was best known for portraying court stenographer Ethel Beavers on Parks and Recreation, passed away at the age of 92.

According to Hughes’s family, Helen wasn’t well however, they didn’t provide any details about her health condition in the media.

On Thursday, her family took to the Facebook platform to announce the tragic news that prominent actress Helen Slayton Hughes is no longer with us. The family shared a sweet video montage documenting Slayton-Hughes’ years-long acting career with a heartbreaking statement,

“To the friends and fans of our beloved Helen, Helen passed away last night. Her pain has ended but her fierce spirit lives on.”

In the video, the family also posted a quote from the late actress which read, “I love doing drama but I’m always hired to do comedy”. Along with that, they expressed gratitude towards all her fans who supported her career over the years stating,

“Thank you for the love and support of her and her work. Rest sweet one.-With love: The Hughes family,”

As of now, the family hasn’t disclosed her cause of death.
