Maksim Chmerkovskiy is now a dad to two sons!

A family of four! Maksim Chmerkovskiy has expanded his family with his wife Peta Murgatroyd.

The couple is blessed with their rainbow baby. The Dancing with the Stars pro, 36, gave birth to her second child, a baby boy on Sunday, June 18, giving an awesome Father’s Day present to her husband.

Maksim took to Instagram to announce the happy news that he and Peta are now officially parents to two sons. He shared a photo of himself cradling the newborn baby with the caption,

“Happy Father’s Day to me! #MadeInPeta”

Although the professional dancer, 43, debuted his newborn son on Instagram, he hasn’t yet revealed his face as the face of the baby is blurred in the photo.

As soon as Chmerkovskiy posted the arrival of her second son on Instagram many were quick to congratulate the couple including Emma Slater and Amanda Kloots.

The couple is also a parent to a 6-year-old son, Shai.

The baby news comes almost six months after the pair made their pregnancy announcement. Similarly, four months later the couple announced the sex of their baby.

They often documented their pregnancy journey on social media.

Further, Peta experienced three miscarriages before the birth of their Rainbow baby. She has experienced three miscarriages over some time.

Shai is overwhelmed by the arrival of his sibling

Peta previously shared that Shai has eagerly been waiting to welcome his younger sibling. In an interview with PEOPLE last summer, he revealed how Shai often asked about having a sibling.

She said at the time,

“He is asking me every single day when the baby’s going to be there. I said, ‘Give it a couple of weeks.’ Counting down the days. He’s going to be the best big brother, I know it.”

Further, Shai is already a big brother to his cousin Rome, who was born in early January. Rome is the first child of Maks’ younger brother Val Chmerkovskiy and his wife Jenna Johnson.
