In a recent conversation with Kevin Hart, the comedian revealed his desire to have children of his own.

During Peacock’s interview with Hart to Heart, Davidson, the 28-year-old said:

“[I’m] definitely a family guy. My favorite thing ever, which I’ve yet to achieve, is I want to have a kid,”

He continued:

”That’s like my dream.”

The SNL star initially joked and called parenthood corny. He later corrected his statement saying:

“It’s not super corny, it’s the best God damn thing you can do in life.”

Pete is extremely excited about being a future dad. Fans have guessed that Pete might have hinted at his ideas about starting a family with his girlfriend Kim Kardashian.

He excitedly told Kevin:

“I’m just so excited for that chapter, so like that’s kinda just what I’m preparing for now. Just trying to be like, as good of a dude, and develop and get better so that when that happens it’s just easier,”

Davidson lost his dad in his childhood

While talking about having children, the comedian reminisced about his childhood. Despite losing his dad during the 9/11 attack in New York, Davidson joked about his childhood.

He said:

“I tell my friends that all the time, I’m like ‘if everything was fine, if my childhood was fine, I’d probably be a construction worker in Staten Island,”
“I’d be like the happiest guy ever, but that weird s-t that it does to you, made me love comedy.”

It would be interesting to know if Kim has any plans of having children with Pete. The pair started dating in October 2021 after Kim divorced her estranged husband Kanye West.

Davidson spends a lot of time with Kardashian’s four kids and often takes them out on shopping sprees. It shows how much he loves kids and wants to be a dad himself.
