Khloe Kardashian will soon be a mom of two

The Kardashian clan is getting bigger. Khloe Kardashian will soon be welcoming her second child via surrogacy with her former lover Tristan Thompson.

For everyone wondering if the couple got back together, it is to inform that the child was conceived before Kardashian found out that Tristan was having a child with another woman.

A source close to the couple confirmed that the baby was conceived in November and is due in August.

A rep close to the couple confirmed:

“Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing.
“We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.”

The rep also said that despite waiting for a child to be born, the couple is not getting back together anytime soon.

They added:

”Khloe and Tristan are not back together and have not spoken since December outside of co-parenting matters.”

Why did Khloe choose surrogacy?

Khloe officially ended her relationship with the NBA player when she found out that he had been cheating on her and fathered another child with Maralee Nichols.

Khloe, 38, and Tristan, 31 began their relationship in 2016 but broke up multiple times. They welcomed their first child, True in 2018.

Besides True, Thompson also is the father of Prince, 5 whom he shares with his ex Jordan Craig.

The news of the surrogate baby broke after Khloe confirmed that she is struggling with conceiving.

In the 2021 premiere of KUWTK’s final season, Khloe shared that doctors told her it would be highly risky for her health if she chose to carry her own second child.

She told her sister Kim that she was thinking of surrogacy at the time.

Khloe revealed her desire to have more kids and expand her family. She feels her life with her many brothers and sisters is a blessing to her. She wants her daughter to have more siblings with whom she was play with and relies on.
