He announced the engagement on 28th September 2021. Just two days later, he exchanged vows with Katia at the Domaine Saint Clair hotel in the French city of Etretat.

Their first wedding picture was shared by David Simon and the newlywed seem happy after signing the marriage registry. Katia looks beautiful in a white bridal gown which was completed with a net veil. The wedding pictures were also shared by other family members. Her cousin wrote,
