Whitney Port-Her favorite co-star for advice

Whitney became candid in her recent interview with Us Weekly. She shared that she would take the parenting advice from Audrina [Patridge] after the baby’s arrival. Audrina became a mother in 2016. Port said,

“I love Audrina [Patridge]. Audrina is such a great girl. I will reach out to her if I feel like I need anything,”

Port announced her pregnancy with her husband Tim Rosenman in February 2017.

Her former costar Lauren Conrad also revealed that she’s also pregnant. Moreover, other co-stars of the Hills Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are also expecting. Port said,

“I’m so excited for everyone. It’s really awesome and I’m really [excited] that we’re all pregnant, but I have not had the chance to chat with anybody yet.”

Whereas Whitney joked,

“It’s crazy. You would think we all, like, got together one night and discussed this master plan. Just totally a coincidence and it’s been really awesome.”

Port has been brutally honest about her difficult pregnancy. She told,

“I would say the hardest part was definitely the first trimester. Just the exhaustion, morning sickness … I just had a really hard time dealing with the fact that I wasn’t in control of my body anymore and that I couldn’t really go and do the things that I used to do.”

Furthermore, in her third trimester, Port joked that she’s definitely not feeling sexy. She said,

“I’m starting to feel like a cute pregnant lady as opposed to a pudgy pregnant lady, but I can’t really say that sexy is a word that I would use to describe myself right now,”

Luckily, Port is very happy with the fact that her husband has been very “sweet and supportive” she can lean on. She shared,

“We went to an amazing nursing class and they taught him all these different moves and massages and techniques that he can use to make me feel better, not only throughout my pregnancy but during my labor and he’s always offering to do that and willing to do it. He’s been really amazing.”

I love my baby, but I don't love birth planning! With so many options available and so many different opinions surrounding us, it has been challenging to know what is right for my family. Sometimes no plan is the best plan but I DO have one top priority and that is stem cell banking. @Americord made it easy for me to understand why stem cells banking is essential. You only have one chance to save and I never want to take a chance and miss a moment. By banking our baby's cord blood and cord tissue, and my placental tissue, I know I'll be able to protect my family for years to come. If you're pregnant and want to check stem cell banking off your birth plan, sign up here to get more information! (Link in bio) #ad

The True Whit: Designing a Life of Style, Beauty, and Fun author has been faithfully chronicling her experience in her online video series “I Love My Baby but I Hate My Pregnancy.”

She was very open about riding the emotional roller coaster during her second trimester. And she did hesitate to share which sex she wished to have. But she and her husband Tim Rosenman have chosen to not find out beforehand.

Port said,

“Before I got pregnant I was dying to have a boy, I just thought I couldn’t handle a girl, and then once people start giving opinions I started to picture it—and now I really want a girl. But obviously at the end of the day with whatever we get.”

Happy Thursday! As some of you may know, Timmy and I have chosen not to find out the gender of this little nugget. I desperately want to find out (I almost asked the doctor last week on my only visit without Tim so far) but am waiting til birth to find out! Timmy led the charge in not wanting to find out so I happily went along with the game plan! At first I really thought it was a boy and then I really thought it was a girl and now I really have NO IDEA! People inundate you with all these theories on what you're having and why but I don't believe any of them! Watch this weeks Chapter of I Love My Baby, But I Hate My Pregnancy to see how we are dealing with the suspense!!! I'd love to know how any of you found out the gender and if any of those myths or old wives tales people told you about how you were carrying, what you were craving, etc. were true!
