Primoz Brezec: Professional Life, Career

Primoz Brezec started playing in the NBA after being selected by the Indiana Pacers in the 2000 NBA draft.

But before the NBA, he also played for Kraski Zidar and Union Olimpija.

He played for the Pacers for around three years and then he was picked by the Charlotte Bobcats in the 2004 NBA Draft.

Primoz Brezec recorded an average of 13.0 points and 7.4 rebounds for the Bobcats during the 2004-05 season.

On 14 December 2007, he was traded to the Detroit Pistons along with Walter Herrmann in exchange for Nazr Mohammed.

On 21 February 2008, he was traded to the Toronto Raptors in exchange for Juan Dixon. In his debut game for the Raptors, he scored 11 points without any miss, 3 rebounds, and 1 block in 13 minutes of gameplay.

He left NBA to play for Lottomatica Roma in 2008 but soon returned to NBA joining the Philadelphia 76ers in August 2009.

On 18 February 2010, Primoz was traded to Milwaukee Bucks along with Royal Ivey in exchange for Jodie Meeks and Francisco Elson.

Then again he left NBA and started playing for Krasnye Krylya in 2010. He joined Lokomotiv Kuban in 2011 and Nizhny Novgorod in 2012.

In 2015, he played for two teams AEK Larnaca and AI Kuwait. Since 2015, he is playing for AEK Larnaca of the Cypriot League, and still, he is active with the team.

On September 2, 2017, Primoz announced his retirement from professional basketball and joined the Cleveland Cavaliers as an international scout.
