Prince William and Princess Catherine smartly ignore ‘racism’ questions
Prince William and Princess Catherine smiled and ignored racist questions thrown at them by reporters over Omid Scobie’s controversial new book, as per People.
The Prince and Princess of Wales arrived at the Royal Variety Performance at the Albert Hall in London on Thursday evening when reporters asked them,
“Your Royal Highness, have you got a comment about Omid Scobie’s book?”
“Did you watch the Piers Morgan show last night, Your Royal Highnesses?”
The royal couple kept their heads high, ignored the controversial comments, and walked down the red carpet together with big smiles. The heir briefly held hands with his spouse and later touched her back.
Reporters at the event were referring to Scobie’s book, Endgame which claimed that Meghan Markle, a biracial by birth, allegedly named two royals who were parts of the controversial conversation surrounding the complexion of her and Prince Harry’s then-unborn son, Archie.
The book writer revealed that he knows who the two royals are but didn’t name them because of libel laws.
Things got more controversial when several copies of the book translated into Dutch and released in Holland had the two names accidentally printed.
Despite Scobie’s attempt to keep it a secret, journalist Piers Morgan revealed the names of the two royals on his show Piers Morgan Uncensored.
Piers identified them as Charles, 75, and Catherine, 41.

Is the British Royal Family racist?
The whole world knew about the race issue after Meghan and Harry spoke about it in a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.
The former Suits actress, 42, claimed that members of the royal family had a discussion about how dark her baby’s skin color would be when he was born in May 2019.
Markle said at the time,
“All around this same time — we have in tandem the conversation of, ‘He won’t be given security, he’s not going to be given a title,’ and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born,”
When Oprah asked who the members of the family were, the couple didn’t name them but later in the interview, Harry, 39, admitted that it was pretty uncomfortable.
The Duke of Sussex said,
“That conversation I am never going to share, but at the time it was awkward, I was a bit shocked,”
But he admitted that discussion of “what will the kids look like?” came “right at the beginning.”
Just days after the interview aired, a reporter asked Prince William if the royal family was racist to which he politely replied that they were not a racist family.
