Ralph Pittman and Drew Sidora have decided to part ways after a year-long marital issues

‘RHOA’ star Ralph Pittman and Drew Sidora are no longer a married couple. The 37-years old reality tv personality confirmed to PEOPLE that he and his wife Drew have separated.

He told PEOPLE,

“Love is a beautiful thing. Unfortunately we have made the difficult decision to move on to our next chapters, independent of each other. Drew and I have decided to file for divorce.”

Pittman continued,

“We have three amazing young children, and their mindset and growth is what is most important. As we navigate this difficult time, I ask that you please respect our privacy.”

According to paperwork obtained by PEOPLE, Pittman’s divorce petition was filed on Monday, February 28. Additionally, the Game actress, 37, filed for divorce on her own behalf one hour before Pittman to the Gwinnett County courthouse in Georgia.

Similarly, Sidora asserts that the couple has been apart since last Thursday, Feb. 23, while noting that “there is no chance or hope of reconciliation”.

Pittman, on the other hand, listed the couple’s split date as Feb. 19 and also asked for joint legal and physical custody of their children.

How long have Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman been together?

Drew and Ralph have been married for more than nine years. The pair exchanged vows in August 2014.

The following year, they welcomed their first child a son named Machai. In 2018, they subsequently welcomed a second child a daughter named Aniya. Further, Drew is also a mother to her 11-year-old son Josiah from her previous relationship.

The couple’s marital issue became apparent in Season 14 of RHOA after fellow cast member Kenya Moore criticized Pittman for his critical behavior towards his wife.

Moores said she finds Pittman to be an “a—hole” and accused him of gaslighting Sidora.

Despite all of the rumblings from her co-stars and fans, Sidora remained married to Pittman and planned to continue working on their relationship.

She told BET in an interview last summer,

“I thought it was like Cinderella, like a happily ever after, and so we thought that’s what it was going to be. My parents who have been married for like 60 years made it look so easy. I’m in a situation where we have children, we’re moving to a new city — life is happening and people are growing as well as changing.”

She continued,

“It’s hard because sometimes you’re like, ‘Do I need to stay in this marriage or am I better off by myself?’ Then I think to myself, when two people commit and you keep committing to each other, what can we do to fix this?”

However, the marriage ultimately failed, and the couple is now separating.
