Raquel Welch’s death certificate reveals she died of cardiac arrest

Raquel Welch‘s death of cause has been revealed more than a month after her demise. According to her death certificate obtained by TMZ, the legendary American actress died of cardiac arrest.

On February 15, 2023, it was reported Welch passed away peacefully at her home in Los Angeles after a brief illness.

Her business manager, Steve Sauer, made the heartbreaking announcement that Raquel was no longer with us in a press release at the time.

Raquel is survived by her two children a son Damon Welch and a daughter Tahnee Welch.

Presently, it has been revealed that Welch was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease at the time of her death, despite the fact that the actress never mentioned the illness when she was alive.

Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive, degenerative brain illness in which abnormal protein buildup causes nerve cells to die.

Further, according to the death document, she died at 2:25 a.m. and was cremated.

Raquel Welch contributed to the entertainment industry for almost six decades

Raquel got her career breakthrough from her role in Fantastic Voyage and One Million Years BC in 1966.

After that, she appeared in the 1974 remake of The Three Musketeers where she portrayed the role of Constance de Bonacieux. She also received a Golden Globe award for her role as the best actress in a motion picture comedy or musical.

Her other credit includes 100 Ridles, The Prince and the Pauper, Chairman of the Board, and more. She made her final on-screen cameo in the movie How to Be a Latin Lover in 2017 when she was in her mid-seventies.
