Rebekah Vardy is not doing fine after losing her 3 million libel case to Coleen Rooney. Mrs. Justice Steyn announced that Coleen Rooney had a victory which Rooney has a Viral Instagram post captioning,
“Today’s judgment makes clear that I was right in what I said in my posts of October 2019.”
Breaking her silence after the verdict, Coleen said she has no ill will toward Rebekah though she wants Rebekah to pay every single penny she incurred in the defamation trial.
“It was not a case I ever sought or wanted.”
Despite only a 30% provision, Vardy will cover all legal costs as per the agreement, says Coleen Rooney’s lawyer.

Rebekah Vardy is not satisfied with the judgment in her case with Coleen Rooney
Rebekah Vardy had filed a defamation case in June 2020 against Coleen Rooney following her 9 October 2019 Twitter post citing Vardy was the one to leak their data. The wife of Jamie Vardy complaint,
“As I explained in my evidence, I, my family, and even my unborn baby were subjected to disgusting messages and vile abuse following Coleen’s post and these have continued even during the course of the trial.”
Upon losing the case on July 29, 2022, after her preliminary win of almost £23,000 in costs from Rooney earlier she said,
“The case is over. I am extremely sad and disappointed at the decision that the judge has reached. It is not the result that I had expected, nor believe was just. I brought this action to vindicate my reputation and am devastated by the judge’s finding.”
The judgment on the Wagatha Christie saga does not please Rebekah Vardy. How can she be after losing the case for nearly 2 and a half years? She stated,
“The judge accepted that publication of Coleen’s post was not in the ‘public interest’ and she also rejected her claim that I was the ‘Secret Wag’. But as for the rest of her judgment, she got it wrong and this is something I cannot accept.”

Coleen Rooney was Partially Correct in her Twitter Post
Coleen Rooney, the wife of footballer, Wayne Rooney, accused Rebekah Vardy of leaking her private Instagram post to the newspaper The Sun.
Mystery writer Agatha Christie dubbed her Twitter post on October 9, 2019, which faced a libel case. Rooney initially aimed to identify who was leaking her stories to The Sun posts, but was shocked to discover Vardy as the sole viewer.
Defending herself, Vardy claimed her Instagram was hacked.
The libel trial which commenced at the Royal Courts of Justice in London in May 2022 ended on 29 July 2022 announcing Coleen Rooney as triumphant. Also, her accusations were partially true as per Mrs. Justice Steyn.
