The event took place on Monday, July 3, in Sydney where the lovebirds couldn’t keep their hands off each other. The son of the late TV star Steve Irwin wrapped his arm around his new love as they posed for photos together.

For the event, the couple matched in all-black ensembles. The 19-year-old Irwin looked dapper in a black suit with an open-collared shirt.

Rorie, on the other hand, wore an asymmetrical black gown with a side cutout. Similarly, she is accessorized with a simple silver necklace and a few rings on both hands.

The red carpet appearance comes more than seven months after the pair were photographed taking a stroll in Queensland, Australia.

One of the Australian media, New Idea reported the adorable couple was seen purchasing burgers and fries at a nearby eatery in November 2022 before heading to the beach.

Previously, the twosome caught up together in several places including at the Australia Zoo crocodile show in December and at the airport in Perth in April.

Robert Irwin’s first public romance since breaking into the entertainment industry

Rorie Buckey is the first girlfriend of Robert Irwin to be known publicly. Rorie is one of the nieces of the late Heath Ledger. In January 2008, Heath died of an overdose of substances.

Her mother, Kate Ledger is one of the 10 Things I Hate About You actor’s sisters, according to US Magazine.

Robert revealed in a March 2021 interview that his older sister Bindi Irwin wanted him to find a special someone. He shared,

“It’s pretty funny because of course, my sister has gotten married and had a kid and there’s always a lot of rumors that go around. Bindi’s having a second kid’ or ‘they’re having triplets.'”
