The singer surprised fans by making her red carpet debut with her new boyfriend Romain Gavras at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival on Friday.

The 27-year-old singer and her French director boyfriend, 41, cozied up as they happily posed for hundreds of cameras in their first public appearance.

The Don’t Start Now hitmaker stunned in a plain, chic one-shoulder black floor-length gown with cutouts and a deep slit.

She wore matching strappy heels and minimal jewelry to pair her classy ensemble.

Gavras, for his part, kept his look simple in a black suit, crisp white shirt, and black tie.

The new couple did not relinquish their love for one another as they looked in a great mood at the star-studded screening of Omar La Fraise (The King Of Algiers). They laughed and chatted as they held hands before entering the theatre.

Lipa and the son of legendary filmmaker Costa Gavras first sparked dating rumors in February after exiting a party in London together.

That same month, the duo was seen holding hands at Paris Fashion Week. In March, insiders revealed that the two were “quietly getting to know each other for months” just months after she split with model Anwar Hadid.
