Just last week, the Rolling Stones lead singer Hamrick was spotted wearing a huge diamond sparkler ring on her that finger.

When asked about the ring, the 36-year-old ballet singer claimed that it was just a promise ring. However, her friends have something else to say. They revealed that the dancer is indeed engaged to Jagger, 79.

The insiders said that Melanie admitted on a recent New York trip that Mick is her fiance.

A source told The Mirror,

”Melanie was at the American Ballet Theatre and she was telling her friends she was engaged to Mick,”
”She was very clear her ring is an engagement ring and she is now his fiancée. Her family also very much understand them to be engaged and are thrilled.”

The source added,

”There are no plans for a wedding, but it means a lot to Melanie to be engaged – that is what she has been saying. All her friends are happy for her.”

This is not the first time the couple sparked engagement rumors. The lovebirds who met nine years ago previously laughed off such rumors.

In November reporters asked Melanie about her engagement ring to which replied,

‘I have to giggle because did Mick give me the ring? Yes.
‘Is it for that finger? Yes. But are we like, h***y teenagers where we’re giving each other… In my mind, it’s a promise ring. We’ll be immature and call it a promise ring.’

How many children does Mick have?

Mick and Melanie who first met at a Tokyo concert are proud parents to a 6-year-old son named Deveraux Devi Octavian Basil Jagger.

The Satisfaction singer is a father to eight children from five different women. His eldest child is a daughter named Karis who is now 52. She was born from a brief relationship with actress and singer Marsha Hunt.

After that, the rocker welcomed another daughter, Jade, 51, with his ex-wife Bianca. The couple were married from 1971 to 1978.
