Ryan Millar started playing Volleyball professionally in 1996 and played at Brigham Young University for three years until 1999.
He used to play at the middle blocker position and in 1996, Ryan was named the ‘Volleyball Magazine National Freshman of the Year‘.
Ryan took part in the Olympic games in 2008, 2004, and 2000. There he earned a Gold Medal, 4th place, and 11th place respectively.
In 2006, Ryan started working as an assistant coach for the BYU men’s volleyball team. Later in August 2006, he was named co-interim head coach of the BYU men’s volleyball team.
Along with the national team, Ryan took participation in several tournaments including ‘Polish Championship’ in 2010, ‘Russian Cup’ in 2012, ‘Russian Championship’ (2012).
