The daughter of former President Barack Obama, 20, is reportedly dating a guy named Clifton Powell Jr., 24.
The parents of two Barack Obama and Michelle have always been protective of their two daughters’ privacy, ever since the First Family moved into the White House.
Recently, in a surprising move, Michelle Obama has spoken candidly for the first time about seeing her daughters with boyfriends while making an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
She told,
“Now they’re bringing grown men home. Now they have boyfriends and real lives and all that stuff. They have grown up right before our very eyes and they are doing well.”

Well, she didn’t share further details about her daughters’ boyfriends, including their names. But many believe Clifton is the one who stole Sasha’s heart.
Sasha debuted her romance to the public for the first time
Sasha debuted her new romance to the public for the first time on Monday, April 18, while outing in Los Angeles, California.
The duo was pictured looking blissfully happy and couldn’t stop smiling as they made their way to their car. Sasha dressed down a flowing purple skirt with a matching crop top whereas her beau rocked loose-fitting navy pants and a white t-shirt.
Further, he also wore a backward cap and carried a plaid overshirt. Similarly, Sasha is accessorized with an array of sparkling necklaces and a multi-colored purse.

Who is Clifton Powell Jr.?
Clifton Powell Jr. is the son of an actor, Clifton Powell, who is popular for his supporting performances on “Ray” and “Next Friday”. He was born to Clifton Powell (father) and Kimberly (mother) on May 23, 1997.
He grew up in Los Angeles’ Ladera Heights neighborhood. Powell completed his high school at Village Christian High School in San Fernando. After that, he received a four-year basketball scholarship to the University of California at Santa Barbara.
According to Junior Powell’s website states, he is a former college basketball star and now works as a commercial director.
His website bio reads,
“Finding an extended passion in directing and visual storytelling, he continued to work at the craft of directing and was quickly thrown into the fire, which forced him to adjust and learn fast,”

How did Sasha Obama and Clifton Powell Jr. meet?
Sasha and Clifton reportedly met for the first time in California after Sasha transferred to the University of Southern California in the fall of 2021. However, it’s unclear when exactly they met or began hanging out.
Earlier this week, they were photographed for the first time together as they went for a walk. It seems he’s already on good terms with Sasha’s parents as Michelle was actually the one who spilled the tea about Sasha having a boyfriend.
