Savannah Chrisley remembers her ex Nic Kerdiles
Savannah Chrisley honored her ex-fiance, Nic Kerdiles, after his shocking death in a bike accident on early Saturday morning.
The reality star paid a moving tribute on her Instagram Story by posting a Boomerang of her and Kerdiles sharing a kiss.
She wrote over it, “I’m still hoping you respond to my text.”
She then shared another snap of the two during their happy times. It showed them holding hands on a beach while the song Dancing in the Sky by Dani and Lizzy played.
Chrisley wrote,
“Heaven gained the most beautiful angel today,”
“I miss you and I love you…I’ll forever save our messages of ‘I love you’….”
Chrisley added that she hopes the former pro hockey player “sends me a sign that you’re ok….maybe it’ll be thru a ham and cheese crepe or pasta with white sauce…or maybe your favorite carrot cake.”
She ended her tribute by sharing that the two of them loved hard and she’s looking forward to riding bikes “along the beaches of heaven with you one day.”
Earlier in the day, the Nashville Police Department informed TMZ that the young athlete passed away from injuries he suffered from the motorcycle accident around 3:30 in the morning.
The 29-year-old real estate agent reportedly sped through a stop sign in a residential Nashville area and hit the driver’s side of a BMW.
He received treatment at Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he later lost his life.
Cops confirmed that there were no signs of impairment in either driver.
Before the deadly crash, Kerdiles posted a picture of himself atop his bike on his Instagram Story, which he captioned “Nightrider,”
His first pro hockey team, the Anaheim Ducks also paid a special tribute to their former player after the news became public.
Their Instagram post read,
“We’re heartbroken to hear the news about Nic Kerdiles, who died in a motorcycle accident this morning,”
“An Irvine native, Nic became the first player from Orange County to play for the Ducks, in 2017. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to his family and loved ones.”
He was later traded to the Winnipeg Jets in 2018.

Nic Kerdiles’ relationship with Savannah and his mental health issues
It was during his athletic career that Kerdiles started dating the Chrisley Knows Best star. He popped the question in December 2018. They postponed their wedding because they felt things were moving too fast and finally parted ways in September 2020.
Despite calling it quits, Nic only had good things to say about his ex-fiancee.
Sharing a slide of photos of him and Chrisley in 2020, Nic wrote,
“This woman right here has been the BIGGEST blessing in my life,”
“She has the purest heart out of anyone that I know. She has treated me with nothing but love and respect in our 3 years together … There was so much genuine love in this relationship and I’m truly blessed to have been able to spend three years of my life with Savannah.”
Last year, Kerdiles suffered from mental health issues and he even attempted suicide while on a combination of pills for COVID-19 and other health issues.
Later during an appearance in a video with Chrisley and her dad, Todd Chrisley, he said,
“I don’t know where I was at in my mental state, but between the depression, anxiety, the COVID effects, the medication, the alcohol, I did something that I never thought I would ever do,”
