Borussia Dortmund’s striker Sebastien Haller earlier in July was diagnosed with a testicular tumor after feeling uneasy at training.
The footballer who started his career in France is set to undergo the best chemotherapy for his malignant testicular tumor.

The former West Ham forward is now expected to be out of action for several months. The tumor was diagnosed earlier this month after Haller complained of feeling unwell after training.
Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl through the club’s website announced the Sebastien Haller treatment news saying,
“Sebastien will now receive the best possible treatment. The chances of recovery are very good. We wish him and his family a lot of strength and optimism and our thoughts are with him during this difficult time.”
Also, the club issued a statement regarding the ill health of their striker, leave and his undoing treatment stating,
“Sebastien Haller (28) will be absent from Borussia Dortmund for several months. The histological findings revealed a malignant testicular tumor. Haller therefore has to undergo chemotherapy treatment.”

Sebastien Haller the striker has recently moved from Ajax to Dortmund in a reported £27 million deal on July 6, 2022, signing a 4-year contract. Immediately upon joining the Borussia Dortmund club he had issues in health and was diagnosed testicular tumor.
The former West Hams and Ajax player had issued an emotional statement thanking those who showed concern on his weak health days saying,
“Thank you all for your many messages of support and affection since yesterday’s announcement. My family and I thank you. I will now focus on my recovery to come back stronger.”

Who is Sebastien Haller?
Sebastien Haller is a professional footballer/striker for the Ivory Coast national team. He is also the new member of Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund after transferring from West Ham United and Ajax club.
Meanwhile, Sebastien is a 28-year-old football player whose first international goal is against Madagascar at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations representing the Ivory Coast.
His early football career began with France in the under-17 team at the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Mexico against Argentina (3-0 win) in the opening match.
