Sheryl was born on February 11, 1962, in Kennett, Missouri. Her mother’s name is Bernice Crow who was a piano teacher. Her father’s name is Wendell Wyatt Crow who is a lawyer and trumpet player. She has two older sisters and a younger brother in her family named Kathy and Karen and Steven.

She studied in Kennett High School in 1980 and completed her schooling. Then she completed her graduation from The University of Missouri at Columbia in 1984. During college, she spent her weekends performing with a local band, “Cashmere”. After completion of her graduation, Crow served as a music teacher.

Crow began playing piano at age 6. After college, Crow worked. And she joined an elementary school in St. Louis teaching there as a music teacher in 1986. After that, she also began to record different jingles for advertising clients, and also worked as a backup singer. It was marvelous and has also won a Grammy for Best Rock Album. Crow had also toured with Lilith Fair and performed in Europe during 1999. Crow’s 2006 album, Wildflower, was nominated for three Grammy Awards.
After that, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and was involved in various health problems. Though she was well enough and after that, she went on her Stop Global Warming College Tour in April 2007. She there started to perform different concerts. As her dream was to be a successful mother, Crow adopted son Wyatt that year.
Again in 2008, she was back, Crow was back with her album Detours. After that, for more songs, she reunited with Bill Bottrell, who produced her first album. As she was also politically active, she provides some free digital copies of her Detours album. Through it, she supports the Rock the Vote’s youth registration drive.
