Shygirl is an English rapper, DJ, singer, songwriter, and co-founder of a record label and collective Nexxe. Her music comprises hip-house, industrial hip-hop, grime, and deconstructive club elements.
The English rapper got her fame after working with close collaborator and friend Sega Bodega and other well-known producers Arca and Sophie.
Soon she got attention from Rihanna. In Fenty Beauty commercials and fashion shows, Rihanna used various Nuxxe tracks for her.
