Sleepy Hallow, real name Tegan Joshua Anthony Chamber, was born on the 20^th of December, 1999 in Jamaica. As of now, his age is 21. Even though he is originally from Jamaica, Hallow’s nationality is American and his ethnicity is African American.

Hallow hasn’t shared anything about his parents, not even their names. Still, we do know that they were Jamaican and their entire family moved to the US shortly after Hallow was born.

More specifically the family started living in Brooklyn, New York. And it was here that Hallow learned how to rap and has gotten better and better ever since then. He was inspired by popular rappers such as Biggie Smalls, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole growing up. Eventually, he also met his best friend and frequent collaborator, Sheff G during this time.

Sleepy is a high school graduate. Though he hasn’t shared the name of the high school, he has shared some other insight into his early life and education.

He has said he was a smart kid and did well at school until he was put into a juvenile detention center for 3 weeks for marijuana.

Sleepy said that he changed a bit after getting out as he started hanging out in the streets more and started doing worse at school. But despite all this, he is thankful that he graduated high school even though his GPA was only 2.2.

Hallow spent a lot of his teenage years polishing his skills in rapping. Eventually, people came to recognize his talent and potential which led to him signing with the music record label Nula Entertainment.

He signed for the label from 2017 to 2018 along with his best friend Sheff G. Sleepy released his debut mixtape Don’t Sleep in 2019. The mixtape received a lot of love and support from the public and Hallow started gaining more recognition.

And so, he followed it up with another mixtape titled Sleepy for President. This mixtape also has the hit single Deep End Freestyle featuring Foushee which has been certified platinum. Along with his success, Sleepy signed with Winners Circle Entertainment and RCA Records.

Hallow is still moving up the ladder in the music industry. Many artists and labels recognize his potential and he has also shown that he is one of the best new rappers out there.

Even his debut album titled Still Sleep has been quite successful and has received a lot of praise from critics and fans alike. The album is quite popular as a whole and has secured great positions in the music charts of several countries.

And one of the singles within the album titled 2055 has already been certified gold. The young rapper is also active on Youtube and has over 500k subscribers on his YouTube channel.
