Sophia Bush sparks dating rumors with Ashlyn Harris
Sophia Bush is rumored to be dating the retired two-time champion soccer player Ashlyn Harris. A close source to the couple told PEOPLE,
“After being friends for years and running in the same social circles, Sophia and Ashlyn went out on their first dinner date a couple of weeks ago, This is so recent, and they are both beginning new chapters.”
Similarly, the rumored couple has been spotted together several times in recent months.
They were on a panel alongside beverage exec Sophie Ann Kelly at the Cannes Lions advertising festival in June.
Bush who herself shared a photo from the event on her respective Instagram hand which she simply captioned,
“Love you @ashlynharris24 and @sophieannkelly.”
Similarly, they attended a Peacock watch party for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup the following month.
In September, the actress and athlete also caught up together at the Kallmeyer’s New York Fashion Week show.
Early this month, Canadian soccer player Selenia Lacchelli shared a series of photos from a party where the two were also seen hanging out together alongside Angel City FC’s Merritt Mathias and Kari Fleischauer.
Sophia Bush has been married twice so far
The actress’ new romance comes just two months after she filed for divorce from her ex-husband Grant Hughes.
The filing came nearly 13 months after the pair tied the knot in 2022. Hughes cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their divorce and also requested spousal support.
They had been friends for a decade before exchanging vows last year.
In June 2022, the pair legally married in an intimate ceremony at the City-County Cleark’s Office in Tulsa, Oklahoma nearly a year after announcing their engagement.
Later, they also hosted a grand wedding party at the Philbrook Museum of Art, which lies in an Italian Renaissance-style villa built in 1927.
She was previously married to Chad Michael Murray. The former couple met on the set of their series One Tree Hill and instantly connected.
In 2004, they got engaged and married the following year. Unfortunely, their marriage didn’t long last and seperated in 2006.
Following the dating rumors between Sophia and Ashlyn, many are questioning Bush’s sexual orientation.
However, the two have yet to comment on their dating news.

Ashlyn Harris is also in the middle of a legal separation from her estranged wife Ali Krieger
Ashlyn, on the other hand, filed for divorce from her fellow soccer wife Ali Krieger in September in Florida’s Seminole County.
The former couple called it quits on their marriage nearly four years after their togetherness.
They also shared two children together daughter Sloane, 2, and son Ocean, 14 months.
The separation comes just over a year after they adopted their second child, Ocean. In August 2022, Ali wrote on her Instagram post,
“We are so thrilled for our growing family and couldn’t be more excited to have two beautiful babies to share life with! Baby Boy, you are so loved and adored already and I’m so proud to be your Mommy.”
Ashlyn, for her part, wrote in her own Instagram post at the time,
“Sloane has been thriving and wakes up every morning saying ‘Baby, baby.’ We are incredibly thankful and excited for this new chapter as we parent 2 under 2,” she added. “Let the sleepless nights rage on @alikrieger … I wouldn’t want it any other way.”
