He was a 3-time finalist at the NCAA Division I All-American. In the same year, Stevan Micic started to represent Serbia at senior levels then he participated in the 2018 European Wrestling Championships held in Kaspiysk, Dagestan, Russia where he lost against the Zaur Uguev of Russia at 57 kg.

After losing he went on to wrestle back and win a bronze medal after defeating Levan Vartabov of Spain. The bronze medal was Serbia’s first-ever European medal in freestyle wrestling.

Moreover, Stevan Micic Participated in the 2018 Mediterranean Games held in Tarragona, Spain. Likewise in the 2019 European Games, he defeated world no.1 Suleyman Atli of Turkey and U23 world bronze medalist Taras Markovich of Ukraine.
