Michae Nance was found dead at around 2 pm on Monday. The Police in Austin, Texas are still investigating to find the real cause of the death.

According to the source, Michael Nance overdosed while living in a sober house. Before stepping the way to fame, he faced real struggles. As per the spokesperson for the Austin Police Department Homicide Unit in Texas:

“At this point it is not a suspicious death and the manner will be determined by the medical examiner,”

In addition, the spokesperson also said that they came to know when they got a call about an unresponsive male around 2:10 a.m. on Monday.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. opened up about Nance after his death. When he came to know about the death of his friend, he said to US Weekly:

“Very sad news about Michael. Michael, unfortunately, overdosed while seeking help at a sober living home. He had struggled with addiction again and in the past two years was in and out of treatment.”

In addition, he also talked about him saying:

“He was a huge help to many people fighting addiction as well as helping my friend along with his struggle. It hurts me to know he helped so many people but he ultimately lost his battle. I honestly don’t know an individual that was more caring and selfless and I’m sad to have to say goodbye to a great friend.”

Once, he revealed that he had recovered from addiction. He said his Bachelorette season:

“I was addicted to prescription drugs. It’s a vicious cycle … I’m almost two years sober now.”
