‘A family of four‘! Theo James and Rith Kearney have a new additional member to their family.

The couple welcomed their second child, a baby boy last year.

Theo and Rith announced the birth of their newborn during their red carpet appearance at the KTLA5 Emmys red carpet show. The 39-year-old singer exclusively said,

“We have a 4-month-old. We’re in the thick of it, We have a daughter and then a 4-month-old son.”

Further, the pair didn’t share much detail about the infant including name and the precise birth date. According to Wiki, Rith gave birth to her second child in September 2023.

The new mama, 39, has accompanied her husband to the awards show while celebrating his nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, The White Lotus.

Although the award was won by “Succession” star Matthew Macfadyen.

On the show, Theo portrayed the role of Cameron Sullivan.

In June 2023, a source broke the news that the pair were expecting their second child

A source told US Weekly at the time,

“They are both wildly excited to be parents again,”

Later on, they revealed that their baby was “due late this summer.” Similarly, Kearney gave a glimpse of her pregnancy in April 2023 during a Palm Springs vacation with James.

Theo and Rith began dating in 2009 after meeting at the theatre school. The two enrolled at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in England.

After dating for almost a decade, the couple said ‘I do’ in August 2018. In 2021, the couple was blessed with their first child a daughter, whom they have kept away from the limelight.

James opened up about how his life has changed after adopting fatherhood in a May 2002 interview with InStyle.

“It definitely changes you in an amazing way. It’s discombobulating at first. Especially with your first child because your whole life changes, but ultimately it makes you definitely for me, at least a much more solid person.”

Similarly, he agreed that having children altered his priorities in a way that reduced his overall stress. He said,

“Obsessiveness, worrying about X or Y — it does calm that kind of outlook on life because it makes you realize that certain things are a bit more important.”
