Thommy Ten and Amelie van Tass secretly married at Las Vegas Chapel

Thommy Ten and Amelie van Tass, who are better known as The Clairvoyants duo, are happily married. The Clairvoyants duo exchanged vows last month on October 30, 2022, at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.

The couple confirmed their wedding in a PEOPLE exclusive interview on Wednesday, November 23,

“We’re famous for our secrets, so we didn’t tell anyone we planned to get married in Las Vegas,”

“After the wedding, we flew to Austria, where our family and friends live and told everyone about what had just happened. It felt like a honeymoon in our home country! Everyone was so happy and celebrated with us.”

A magician, 35, and a mentalist had a very intimate ceremony in front of their loved one and their little dog Mr. Koni Hundini.

The couple has been together for almost a decade and has spent almost every waking hour together, so they already feel like a married couple as a result of their extensive time together.

The couple began their wedding day with a flying trapeze class before changing into their wedding attire and exchanging traditional vows.

“Our favorite part was when we said our vows and put the rings on each other’s fingers. It was a very intimate and emotional moment.”

Ten and van Tass met at a TV show in Vienna, Austria in October 2011 while Ten was performing as a magician and van Tass was performing as a dancer. Similarly, the two were runner-ups on season 11 of America’s Got Talent.

The couple has been planning to elope for a long time. They fell in love with Las Vegas after living there for a year and ultimately decided that it was the place they wanted to say “I do.” The pair express to PEOPLE,

“It was the right time and the right place. Definitely the cherry on top. We both figured out pretty quickly that we have a very special connection. Since then, we’ve enjoyed every moment together,”

They drove to downtown Las Vegas after the ceremony to eat pizza and take photos on historic Fremont Street. Later that evening, the couple dined at Spago by Wolfgang Puck, which is located in the Bellagio near the fountains.

Similarly, they drank rose champagne and shared chocolate souffle for dessert. The couple ended their big day at home with their first dance to the song “Emory” by Austrian musician Hubert von Goisern.
