Torrey DeVitto took the next step in her relationship with Jared LaPine.

Pretty Little Liars and The Vampire Diaries alum, 39, took to Instagram on Monday, September 25, to announce the happy news that she is engaged to her boyfriend Jared LaPine.

She shared a series of photos of herself with her now-fiance, flaunting her engagement ring.

The first photo of the series shows the couple posing at a park while the second photo features Jared kissing Torrey.

The last and third photo shows a solo photo of Devitto showing off her emerald-cut diamond ring on that finger.

Similarly, the reality TV star captioned the post simply writing,

“Earlier this month at 5 pm on a weekday while walking the back trails at the farm, still in my PJs and goat boots, he got down on one knee, in what I hoped wasn’t poison ivy, and asked for forever, My answer was obvious.”

Jared, for his part, shared similar photos on his own Instagram handle and captioned it,

“On September 1st, I got engaged to my best friend. Now I get to spend every single day as the luckiest man in the world. I love you more than anything and everything.”

In June this year, Torrey and Jared went Instagram public with their relationship after months of dating each other. Torrey shared a photo of the two of them embracing each other alongside a sweet caption,

“Enter Cheesy/Sappy line here,”

Her now-fiance also commented underneath the post at that time, writing,

“I love us.”

The now-engaged couple met through Torrey’s cousin, according to US Weekly.

DeVitto shared the second post later that same month sharing photos of the pair snuggling up in a field while visiting family in Michigan. She then captioned the post,

“Michigan Poppies and Pride, #HappiestPlaceOnEarth.”

Torrey DeVitto has previously married once

This will be Torrey’s second marriage if she gets married to Jared in the future. She was previously married to her The Vampire Diaries costar Paul Wesly.

They were married for two years from 2011 to 2013. The former couple met in 2007 on the set of Killer Movie.

After knowing for almost four years, they ultimately tied the knot in April 2011 in an intimate ceremony in New York City. However, their marriage didn’t long last.

In the 2019 interview with Us Weekly, the TV personality shared her own perspective towards her future partner, which she is looking for,

“A best friend, somebody to travel with, a partner, somebody who has the same values as me, You know? A family unit, traveling, just fun.”
