Twin sisters Laura Jopson, 35, had revealed her experience of giving birth to a son just 3 days earlier than her sister Claire’s baby.

Laura who gave birth to her son Henry on February 12, 2021, at Stoke Mandeville Hospital hadn’t imagined that she would be an aunt just days after.

Her sister Claire discovered that she was pregnant 5 weeks after her sister Laura but it happens she deliver the baby weeks before her actual due date. The mother of Olive born on February 15, 2021, then recalled what her parents told saying,

“Laura told our parents a few weeks before I told them, and they weren’t shocked at all when I said I was too.”

Twin sisters deliver babies together couldn’t meet due to COVID

Twin Sisters who were pregnant during COVID were allowed to meet once a day only though they delivered babies in the same hospital. It was really comforting to deliver the baby in the same week and share what one feels with the other. Claire Jopson then confessed,

“Being able to text each other pictures of our hospital food at 1 AM was really comforting just knowing we had each other there.”

Claire and Laura on experiencing their maternity journey together confessed that it’s not the best thing when no one is that mature in their parenting skills. They also revealed how the duo compared and had conflicting maternity mood swings stating,

“It was nice to spend time with someone you know so well who has a baby exactly the same age.”
