Tyreek Hill is an American football player. He currently plays as a wide receiver and kicks returner for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Oklahoma State University and the University of West Alabama.

Hill was born on March 1, 1994, in Lauderhill, Florida, USA. His mother’s name is Anesha Sanchez and his father’s name is Derrick Shaw. His parents were natives of Pearson, Georgia. There is no information on his siblings. His nationality is American and he is of African-American ethnicity.

He attended Coffee High School, where he won both the 100 meters and 200 meters at the 2012 Georgia 5A state meet. Hill was named “High School Athlete of the Year” in 2012 by Track and Field News. He was a USA Today All-American track and field selection in 2012.

Hill also attended the Garden City Community College. After that, he enrolled at Oklahoma State University where he played for the Oklahoma State Cowboys football team. After that, he played college football at the University of West Alabama.

Hill began playing football professionally in 2016. He was projected to go undrafted during the 2016 NFL Draft, mainly due to his domestic violence arrest. The Kansas City Chiefs selected him in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He was the first player from West Alabama to be drafted since 1974.

He finished his rookie season with 61 receptions for 593 receiving yards and six touchdowns.  Hill was named to the 2017 Pro Bowl as a return specialist. On January 6, 2017, Hill was named First-team All-Pro as a punt returner. He has an annual salary of $540,000. His net worth is estimated to be $3 million as of 2022.

Hill did domestic violence against his pregnant girlfriend in 2014.  That year, he was arrested for choking his girlfriend and for other violence. However, the name of the girl is unknown. When he joined The Kansas City Chiefs, he and the Chiefs were criticized by fans for the selection due to his past issues with domestic violence and the Chiefs’ history.
