Vail Bloom made her debut in 2006 in the American drama series, ‘Las Vegas. The following year, she landed the role of Heather Stevens in the soap opera, The Young and the Restless. This was her breakthrough role and the role which made her gain recognition as an actress.

The character, Heather Stevens was first portrayed by child actors. However, in 2007, she was reintroduced into the show as an adult. At first, the character is unaware that she is the daughter of Paul. But, later they developed a father-daughter relationship. She then becomes a lawyer. She also becomes the love interest of the villain, Adam Newman. In 2008, for her role as Heather, she received a Daytime Emmy nomination. In 2010, she left the role.

She has appeared in various movies and series including Finishing the Game, Angel of Death, Entourage, Cold Case, and The Somnambulist.

Moreover, she has also appeared in Your Love Never Fails, Life at the Resort, Hollywood Heights, Hello Ladies, etc.  She also appeared as a hostess at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant on the reality TV series, ‘Vanderpump Rules‘.

Her latest work came in 2018 with the portrayal of Caroline Crowley in the film, Orphan Horse.

Restraining Order Against Former Fiance and Drug Troubles

In October 2019, Bloom was involved in domestic trouble. The actress, who was pregnant at the time, was given a restraining order from her former fiance, Frank Mechaly after claims of domestic violence.

Vail Bloom claimed that during an argument, he dragged her by the hair and also pushed her. Moreover, he threatened to kick her and her cat out of the house. After that, he gave her 24 hours to find another place to go and threatened to call the police for trespassing.

Furthermore, Vail Bloom claimed that Frank also attacked her outside of the house. Apparently, he grabbed her by the arm and hair and dragged her back inside. Vail showed photos of her bruises. She also claimed that prior to the incident, Mechaly grabbed her face and poured sparkling water down her nose and throat to choke her. She then got a restraining order in which her former fiance had to stay 100 yards away from her.

Vail has admitted that she was once a drug addict. She had problems adjusting to life as a ‘Hollywood star’. She revealed that in an episode of Vanderpump Rules.
