Vanessa Bryant celebrated Capri’s birthday at Disneyland

Vanessa Bryant shares some admirable snaps from her family trip last month to celebrate her and Kobe Bryant’s daughter Capri‘s 4th birthday.

The South California-based family jetted off to Walt  Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida for the special occasion.

Vanessa’s feature photo showed Mommy Bryant wearing pink-and-yellow Minnie Mouse ears while holding Capri. She planted a kiss on her darling daughter’s head.

Other photos showed cake pops of Disney characters and a group photo including Vanessa’s other daughters, Natalia, 20, and Bianka, 6. All of them wore Disney-themed personalized birthday shirts in honor of the little girl.

Vanessa also shared a picture with her nephew, Justin Gonzalez. The family also enjoyed a Donald Duck stage show at the park.

Many fans expressed their love for the little girl who lost her father two years ago.

The family is finally getting to celebrate some occasions happily after the death of Kobe Bryant and 13-year-old Gianna’s death, and six other passengers who died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California in January 2020.

Vanessa who lost her husband and daughter continues to celebrate the basketball legend’s legacy.

Kobe was the first athlete ever to have his hands and feet imprinted on cement at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre in  2011.

Vanessa and her daughters are keeping Kobe’s legacy alive

In  March, his wife and three daughters honored him and Gigi by permanently placing his handprints and footprints in the forecourt of the theatre.

His eldest daughter, Natalia gave a heartfelt speech with her mommy and sister watching on. She said,

“I’m honored to be here today to recognize the man that we all knew and love my dad, Kobe Bryant,”

In her speech, she called her daddy the “MVP of girl dads,” and revealed how despite the hectic schedule he always made time for his daughters.

She concluded her speech by saying,

“Dad, you’re an icon, a legend, the storyteller, and most importantly, the best girl dad any young woman could ever dream of,”

“I’m honored to be here to represent you and our family, and we are extremely proud of you. We will love you forever and always. Love, Natalia, Gianna, Bianka, Capri and Mommy.”

In an interview with Extra in 2017, the LA Lakers player admitted that his wife was hoping to have a baby boy someday.

He joked at the time,

“I hear boys are just walking tornadoes. We’ll see. I think Vanessa wants a boy more than I do,”

However, Bryant said that he always enjoyed being a girl’s day, adding,

“My friends say, ‘It takes a real man to make a boy.’ I’m like, ‘Dude, it takes a king to make a princess.'”
