Verne was born on January 1, 1969, in Sturgis, Michigan, United States of America. He died on April 21, 2018, in Los Angeles, California, USA. He was the son of  Reuben Troyer and Susan Troyer and had two siblings Davon and Deborah.

Talking about his nationality, he was American and his ethnicity was German. Moving towards his education, he completed his graduation from Centreville High School in 1987.

Verne began his acting career from the 1994 film Baby’s Day Out. Later, he also appeared in a couple of comedy roles including Dunston Checks InJingle All the Way, Men in Black, and My Giant. He rose to prominence from his roles in the Austin Powers film series. Furthermore, he got the role of Mini-Me in the 1999 movie Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.

Back in 2002, he starred as Mini-Me in Austin Powers in Goldmember. Some of his notable films include The Love Guru, Postal, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, Instinct, and a few more.

Additionally, he also portrayed the role of goblin Griphook in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in 2001. Recently, he died on April 21, 2018, in Los Angeles, California, USA. At the starting of April 2018, he was admitted to a hospital after an incident in his home. Prior to this, he was in rehab for his treatment for alcoholism. At the age of 49, he died, and not any cause of death has been revealed.
