Wendy Chabert was an American model, celebrity sister, and social media influencer. She was most known as the sister of renowned actress Lacey Chabert.

Sadly, Wendy is presently no longer alive among us. In November 2021, she took her last breath, however, her precise cause of death hasn’t yet revealed.

She was 46 at the time of her death. It is said that she died in a car accident.

Wendy worked as a baker at the grocery store chain Market Street.

Lacey Chabert opens up about her sister’s Wendy Chabert death

Lacey Chabert spoke up about her “very hard” grief over her sister Wendy’s “shocking” death after more than two months after her tragic passing.

In an Instagram story, she described her late sister as her “best friend who just so happened to share her DNA.”

She wrote,

“I can’t believe it’s been over two months since I’ve been able to hear my sister’s voice. I still reach for my phone ten times a day to text or call her before I remember that I can’t. I keep calling grief a journey, because that’s what it’s been for me. It’s been incredibly hard,”

The Mean Girls star claimed that sometimes she is “OK,” but other times she can “barely catch her breath because her heart aches so deeply.” Similarly, she shared how much the loss has hurt her and how she “desperately wants she could hug her once more.”

She continued,

 I miss Wendy with every ounce of my being. I desperately wish I could hug her once more or hear her voice. But when I’m still enough, I realize I really do hear it. I hear it because she’s imbedded in my every thought.”

Was Wendy Chabert married?

Wendy Chabert is survived by two sons whom she shared with a man named Shane Riggio. She was unhappy in her marriage, so she filed for divorce in August 2019, and the matter has since remained pending.

However, it’s not known if they were still married at the time of her death.

Wendy Chabert appeared to be very close to her siblings

Wendy Chabert had three siblings two sisters Chrissy, 45, and Lacey, and a brother named T.J. She and her three siblings were born to Tony Chabert (father) and Julie Chabert (mother) in Purvis, Mississippi.

While speaking to Southern Living, Lacey revealed how their siblings were close to each other. She disclosed that no matter how busy they are, they always make time to be together for the holidays.

She explained,

“My sisters and brother and all of my nephews – I have seven nephews – try to be in my parents’ home for Christmas Eve. We have a white elephant-style party and and all end up fighting for a particular gift that is so silly. We eat and we cook the same things every year.”

“There are recipes that have been passed down from my grandmother and my great-grandmother and my mom. It’s stuff that I grew up eating as a child during the holidays. I love the tradition of doing the same thing year after year. On Christmas morning, we open presents and everyone stays in their pajamas all day long, eats a huge dinner, and we watch our favorite movies.”
