The specifics of their settlement remain private, although some details emerged from court documents obtained on Wednesday, September 25. The former couple has 45 days to negotiate any changes to their child support agreement or to resolve any allegations related to breaches of that agreement.

What took Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan so long to finalize their divorce?
Channing and Jenna have been in a lengthy legal battle over profits from the Magic Mike franchise. The franchise started filming while they were still married. The 43-year-old actress claims that Tatum used funds from their marriage to start the project, which implies that she deserves some financial compensation.
In a legal document obtained by Page Six, Dewan stated that as long as their divorce case is ongoing, Tatum is unfairly profiting from Magic Mike without sharing the earnings with her.
Meanwhile, Tatum’s legal team has countered these claims by accusing Dewan of using the issue as a strategy to delay their divorce proceedings. They stated that Tatum had made several settlement proposals, attended multiple mediation sessions, and also tried to resolve their disputes directly.
Although they have been declared legally single, a settlement is necessary for both parties to fully move on from their divorce and concentrate on their new relationships.
